You need to book this for the dog dad in your life! 🐾🐾

Our dog mum's High Tea was so fun, we created a version of our Gentleman's Tea just for dog-dads! 🐕

You’ll be treated to a chilled craft beer or glass of bubbles (or mocktail) upon arrival, a progressive High Tea (both savoury and sweet) featuring hearty gourmet selections made fresh in our kitchen, surrounded in luxury from a bygone era. Your fur-baby will also enjoy its own accompanying High Tea!

**This is suitable for dogs comfortable in a social setting as there will be other dogs on the premises as well.

About last night 👀 the most fun Murder Mystery we have hosted so far! You were the most fabulously dressed, extremely competitive, well prepared and talented guests we've ever had! ✨

Thank you for coming, we can't wait to do it again next weekend! (And we're sure you will all be equally talented 😉)

We're sold out for our next Murder Mystery and that's it for ticketed ones until next year 👀 but... We can do private murder mysteries all year round! They make fantastic work dos, birthday party's and celebrations!

The birthday celebrations continued with a girl dinner of cocktails, fried food and dessert at @therabbit_ashburton with just returned from the UK Laura who you might have met at some of our events 🥂

It's also lovely to be spoilt with a homemade Guinness and chocolate cake. There's nothing like baking for the baker.

This beautiful couple chose to be married on a Tuesday >> the same Tuesday as the bride's parents and grandparents 🥹 on a February summer's day surrounded by their nearest 25 🥂

Post-ceremony Aperol spritzes to say cheers 🥂 slipping away to get a few romantic photos in our orchard 🌳 an afternoon of good drinks, guests wandering the gardens and enjoying a fresh grazing table and a cake carefully convoyed from Christchurch 🎂

Coming to our August High Tea this Sunday?

Our High Tea isn't like a booking at a restaurant or hotel, here's how to make the most of your time with us 👇

Plan ahead 🧾
If you need a dietary requirement, have a question about the seating options, or need some accomodations, give us a call so we have time to prepare.

No need to print 🎟️
You won't need your tickets printed, we'll ask for your name at the door and seat you at your table.

Come hungry 🍽️
Everyone has a full portion of all the delicacies on the tiers, plus we will keep coming around with Tea and Coffee Pots until you are topped up to the brim.

Don't Rush ⏳
We're not as far out as you think! We're only 10 minutes from the centre of Ashburton, and just over an hour from Christchurch. The doors won't open any earlier than 2:00pm so enjoy a walk in the garden if you arrive early.

Get Festive 🥂
Your very first stop when you get to the Homestead is to treat yourself to a complimentary cocktail or mocktail.

Pace yourself 🕰️
Enjoy the progressive experience and give yourselves time for the full experience. You have two and a half hours to enjoy your High Tea and tour the Homestead and Grounds.

Take another scone 🍓
Rebecca has made sure there's enough for everyone to have two if not more! Put that homemade jam and cream to use with a debate about Devonshire vs Cornwall customs.

Take a tour before you go 🔍
Ask Jema for the history of the estate, or take a wander around the Homestead and gardens before you go. There's little treasures everywhere you look.
