The Ton Reunites! The Ladies of Hemsworth Estate i

The Ton Reunites! The Ladies of Hemsworth Estate invite their esteemed members of the ton to an intimate soiree to watch the latest theatre-goings of their dear friends the Bridgertons as it premiers on Netflix on Thursday 16th May at 7:00pm.

Guests will be treated to a glass of champagne as they arrive, and a chance to catch up with their fellow Ball-goers. A selection of light refreshments will be available in the Dining Room, and of course, the premiere of the much anticipated Season 3 starring their dear friend in particular, Mr Colin Bridgerton.

Regency finery is optional, however we find the formal attire quite comfortable for an intimate evening of theatre and wine. Besides - where else will you find the excuse to wear such exceptional gowns and cravats?

Cosy up in our Drawing Room or Morning Room with a small selection of ton members, and of course your hosts, the Ladies of Hemsworth Estate for a night of opulent entertainment as we watch the premiere episode of Season 3 together.

The Polls are in. What do mums really want for Mother's Day? Sleep! Deep, uninterrupted sleep. We've got a special offer to help you out with this but we thought the other top answers were also worth a share. We've also tagged our favourite local Ashburton businesses who can help with these!

1. Sleep - Realistically, this won't happen at home if she's the main stay-at-home parent. So book her in to a hotel so she can't clean, make, or fix anything and can only binge on her favourite shows, and have an everything shower. (We've popped together a Mother's Day Special of $275 per night just for mums! Use MOTHERSDAY when booking direct, or DM us to arrange a voucher).

2-3. TLC - These heroines have literally birthed and raised human beings. This TLC needs to be alone according to the data so a Spa Day at @BeautyWorxDaySpa or a Solar Tub at @opukespa seems like just the ticket.

4. Deep Clean - Is there anything better than having a completely reset house? Preferably book an all eco-friendly and natural clean from Jan Maree Cleaning here in Ashburton WHILE she is at the spa or away for the night ;)

5. - A Full Day Off - from the Mental Load. She doesn't think about meals, she doesn't write anything on the shopping list, she doesn't handle bath time, she doesn't come up with activities, she doesn't handle bed time. The entire day is hers. 👏 This isn't something a local business can really help you with, but we know you've got this!

We need your help! Most event planners consider summer the begin of their year but for us, Mother's Day signals kick off! I don't know if it's because the very first event we hosted was our Mother's Day High Tea in 2018 or if winter signals the time where our cosy hospitality can shine.

We're currently planning our events for the next 6 months (and a few key important ones for 2025 for Bridgerton fans ;) and we'd love to know what you would like to attend.

Our ideas range from a cozy wear your crazy sweater Mid Winter Christmas nostalgia filled event, to a formal Butler at the door Downton Abbey Formal dinner (fun fact, Hemsworth Estate was built in the same era as Downton Abbey) or a fun filled murder mystery evening.

We also plan a high tea each winter month, and our Alice in Wonderland Tea Party will return in September.
