We have made a lot of DIYs over the past three yea We have made a lot of DIYs over the past three years for our Bridgerton-themed Country Balls (and honestly we haven't stopped - we've got a few more surprises up our sleeve for this year!) but here's the most iconic things we've made for the ball and our rating for them.

What's yours? If you attended, did you love any of these? or planning to attend our upcoming ball? Which of these are you most excited to see in person?
Camp Diaries: Camp Hemsworth 2026 Day 3 Our final Camp Diaries: Camp Hemsworth 2026 Day 3

Our final day. It's gone by so quickly, and I know I said it last year but it felt like no time at all this year. The ladies finished off crafts, read in the pergola or tried making flower petal dyed t-shirts in the lambing shed while Rebecca prepared a farewell brunch.

We weren't sure what the weather was going to do this morning so it was safer to host it in the dining room which ended up being the coolest spot out of the heat! Rebecca prepared smoked salmon bagels, french toast with bacon, fruits, cinnamon scrolls and quiche alongside celebratory mimosas to say farewell.

All too quickly it was time to depart, and we sent our ladies off with jam, cordial, a book nook to try at home and flowers. We hope they bring back fond memories for you all. It's been a wonderful weekend for us and we're so honoured you chose to come spend time with us at Camp!

Bring on Camp Hemsworth 2027?
Camp Diary: Camp Hemsworth 2026 Day 2 What a day Camp Diary: Camp Hemsworth 2026 Day 2

What a day 🌻 Tired feet but a very full heart. We filled our entire dining room for Breakfast this morning. It's only been one night but already the conversation is flowing and I can hear the ladies connecting from the kitchen. I also heard a bit of music from our previous Bridgerton balls sharing their experience. Perhaps we shall see some of these wonderful ladies again soon!

After breakfast it was full swing into activities. Jema finally had a participant in the open workshop restoring a very sentimental piece, and the creative activities this morning were wreath making and water colours. In the kitchen, we made apricot, ginger and rosemary jam which smelled delicious and I used this on the crostinis during aperitivo hour.

Lunch was picnics anywhere on the estate. And a much needed respite from the hot day. After lunch some ladies chose some free time and others put together glorious floral arrangements, made rhubarb cordial and finished craft projects.

As the evening cooled, Jema opened the lambing shed bar for the first time to serve elderflower spritzes, pate and cranberry brie and thyme puffs. While Rebecca and Hannah worked on a french country inspired dinner.

When it was ready, we invited the ladies over to the most beautiful tablescapes filled with the floral arrangements and pears from the garden to enjoy a rocket, poached pear and goats cheese salad, followed by Coq au Vin Blanc with green beans, duck fat roasted potatoes, and balsamic roast carrots. Finally to finish, Rebecca served chocolate mousse from the bar.

The last moment of the night, was watching The Book Club on the projector in the lambing shed with copious amounts of wine and lots of laughs.

A full day, a day full of memory making. And tomorrow is the last one!
Camp Diary: Camp Hemsworth 2026 Day 1 What a big Camp Diary: Camp Hemsworth 2026 Day 1

What a big day! We had ladies traveling from the top and bottom of the South island to come to camp and we've doubled in numbers compared to last time.

It's been challenging to imagine what double the amount of people and food and preparation would look like but seeing it all come together as campers arrived and checked in made it all worthwhile. And again when hearing everyone introduce themselves during cocktail hour.

This year, instead of a welcome speech, we took everyone on a welcome tour, Aperol spritz in hand to see where they'll experience each moment at Camp and go over any faqs. It was fun to try a new format and make everyone feel welcome in the whole estate.

We managed to tame the weather long enough to have our Italian Summer Dinner outside. As usual Rebecca loaded everyone's plates high and the Tiramisu was a hit. The evening came to a calm close with s'mores over an open fire. (And yes, the savoury s'mores were well received).

Can't wait for Day 2!
