You are cordially invited to a Ball in the Ashburton Countryside inspired by Regency Era Hit Series Bridgerton on Saturday 22nd February 2025 at 6:30pm.

It's time to find a costume! 👗 You won't want to miss New Zealand's only Bridgerton-Inspired soiree of 2025.

Your ticket includes:
🕴️Welcome by our butler, and a dance card allocated.
🥂 A complimentary themed cocktail upon arrival.
👗 A Formal Promenade has also been included in the evening's entertainment for those who wish to see their modiste's handiwork shine in the spotlight.
📸 A formal portrait setting and professional portraits from the maestro Jonny Knop.
🍦 A selection of light refreshments including Iced Glacés from the @theRollinPedaler, the finest meats and cheese platters from @FernandFetaPlatters, and some home-cooked favourites from the Hemsworth Estate chef will be available.
💃 And a selection of two alumni dances from the previous ball, and two new dances have been added to the repertoire.
🐎 Optional add on: A grand entrance via Horse and Carriage.

Camp Hemsworth Day 2&3 | we have no words. These ladies traveled from the furtherest reaches of New Zealand for a weekend in the country with us. We're so honoured they chose to come to our first Camp Hemsworth and their overwhelmingly positive response has meant we will definitely be hosting more!

On day two, we made jam and cordial, picnicked in the rose garden, painted watercolours and crafted with clay, had afternoon tea with Willow, made beautiful flower arrangements and enjoyed a 3-course Enchanted Garden themed Dinner on the terrace followed by watching Pride and Prejudice.

The next day was a relaxed morning and a Farewell Brunch before parting. Hopefully only for a while, and not forever!

Thank you ladies for joining us, you will forever be known as the first Hemsworth Ladies to us 💕

Dearest Gentle Reader,
The Country Ball is less than 6 weeks away and the ladies of Hemsworth Estate are certainly preparing for a festive occasion with their selection of libations. Where else might you be served vintage wines this summer season pray tell?

These ladies are eager indeed to out-do theirselves on almost every level. It's exhausting simply to report on their efforts. This author will need to fortify herself to report on the evenings events.

An evening of plenty? For some, as not all the Ton has reserved their attendance. If you desire to attend, let me advise you to make haste lest your chance slip through your fingers.

When all the guests at your Bridgerton themed ball understood the assignment 🥂 Every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 person came in costume and it was incredible. We really felt like we were partying in 1813. Can't wait to do it all again in less than 6 weeks 💃🏻
