Whisk her away to the charming country town of Ashburton for a lavish Ball. Arrive in a horse-drawn carriage, dance the night away, and immerse her in the fairytale world Bridgerton.

She won't want to miss New Zealand's only Bridgerton themed event in 2026. This faiy-tale evening is the perfect Christmas Gift.

Each Ticket includes:
🕴️Welcome by our butler, and a dance card allocated.
🥂 A complimentary themed cocktail upon arrival.
👗 A Formal Promenade has also been included in the evening's entertainment for those who wish to see their modiste's handiwork shine in the spotlight.
📸 A formal portrait setting and professional portraits from the maestro Jonny Knop.
🍦 A selection of light refreshments including the finest meats and cheese platters from @FernandFetaPlatters, and some home-cooked favourites from the Hemsworth Estate chef will be available.
💃 And a selection of two alumni dances from the previous ball, and one new dance has been added to the repertoire.
🐎 Optional add on: A grand entrance via Horse and Carriage.

Join us for our last afternoon teas! Hemsworth Est

Join us for our last afternoon teas! Hemsworth Estate is open most Wednesdays for Afternoon Tea from 1:00-4:00pm for this year only. (We will have something new to offer in 2026)

🕰 Arrive anytime between 1:00pm and 3:30pm (we will close at 4:00pm)
📞 No need to book but please do call ahead if you have dietary requirements or a group of 5 or more.
🌹 Choose your own table in Morning Room or call to reserve an outdoor table in warm weather.
☕ Be served a fresh pot of french press coffee, or a pot of tea of your choice.
🍰 Choose from a selection of seasonal cake, biscuits and tea sandwiches available for purchase. (Altogether your total won’t be more than $20 per person.)
🐾 Spend the afternoon catching up with your group, take a wander around the gardens and take a small tour around the Homestead. (You might even get to meet Willow, the puppy!)
🛎 When you’re ready to leave, pay via cash, bank transfer or credit card.
