Camp Diaries: Camp Hemsworth: Winter Edition Day 3 Camp Diaries: Camp Hemsworth: Winter Edition Day 3

It's the final day 🥹 As usual I have stuffed everyone full from the moment they arrived. The self-served coffee and snacks style breakfast to tide over to our farewell brunch is the perfect antidote to the lavish meals 🍽️

The campers had the choice of finishing any activities, a leisurely morning in bed or connecting with each other. 🐾 We brought over Margot and Willow for a cuddle and ending up chatting over coffee in the drawing room with everyone.

11:00am rolled around and my easy but delicious brunch recipes started wafting towards the drawing room. 🥂 We started with mimosas and sat down to a delicious farewell brunch. Baked french toast with raspberries and bacon, bacon and egg pie, smoked salmon bagels and cinnamon scrolls ☕ believe it or not, this is the "paired back" version where I try to restrain myself on portion size and choices 😅

It was soon time for everyone to depart ✈️ It felt like it was over all too soon and we were giving hugs and hoping to see these lovely women another time soon. 💓

It's safe to say, there will definitely be another Winter Camp! See you in 2027? Our waitlist is open now. Let us know if you want to get on it. 👇
Camp Diaries: Camp Hemsworth: Winter Edition Day 2 Camp Diaries: Camp Hemsworth: Winter Edition Day 2

☕ Slow mornings, a leisurely pace and discovering a potential hobby is simpler than you thought is all part of the ritual of day 2 of camp.

I love hearing that preserving is simple, or that trying something new was fun and really doable 🪡 All our activities are designed to be low-stakes "give it a go" activities so your potential perfectionism doesn't have the driver's seat.

🫖 Our activities were interludes by a leisurely high tea in the window seat of the drawing room before returning to our activity centre in the morning room.

Here I left the ladies for a cuddle and respite with my fur-family 🐾 before getting stuck into dinner preparation. Jema transformed our dining room into a witches lair and I prepared a matching feast to go with it 🎃

The night ended all cozy with a generous slice of chocolate cake and Practical Magic ✨ as our movie of choice.

Can't believe it's day 3 already...
Camp Diaries: Camp Hemsworth Winter Edition 2026 D Camp Diaries: Camp Hemsworth Winter Edition 2026 Day 1

The calm before the storm was making sure the homestead was all cozy, preparing food and anticipating seeing some very special campers who have visited us before.

Today, we welcomed our winter campers to the estate, enjoyed a classic gin & tonic and canapes in front of a roaring fire in the drawing room before an English Country Manor feast with the best Yorkshire puddings I have made so far. Topped off the meal with a slow cooked sticky date pudding and pot of tea.

The evening ended quietly surrounded by all of our resident pets in front of the camp fire sharing stories and trying ice cream cone s'mores!

Looking forward to Day 2...
