Coming to our August High Tea this Sunday?

Our High Tea isn't like a booking at a restaurant or hotel, here's how to make the most of your time with us 👇

Plan ahead 🧾
If you need a dietary requirement, have a question about the seating options, or need some accomodations, give us a call so we have time to prepare.

No need to print 🎟️
You won't need your tickets printed, we'll ask for your name at the door and seat you at your table.

Come hungry 🍽️
Everyone has a full portion of all the delicacies on the tiers, plus we will keep coming around with Tea and Coffee Pots until you are topped up to the brim.

Don't Rush ⏳
We're not as far out as you think! We're only 10 minutes from the centre of Ashburton, and just over an hour from Christchurch. The doors won't open any earlier than 2:00pm so enjoy a walk in the garden if you arrive early.

Get Festive 🥂
Your very first stop when you get to the Homestead is to treat yourself to a complimentary cocktail or mocktail.

Pace yourself 🕰️
Enjoy the progressive experience and give yourselves time for the full experience. You have two and a half hours to enjoy your High Tea and tour the Homestead and Grounds.

Take another scone 🍓
Rebecca has made sure there's enough for everyone to have two if not more! Put that homemade jam and cream to use with a debate about Devonshire vs Cornwall customs.

Take a tour before you go 🔍
Ask Jema for the history of the estate, or take a wander around the Homestead and gardens before you go. There's little treasures everywhere you look.

Our first Murder Mystery of the season has kicked off with a private one for a Mid Winter Work Do! 👀

Unfortunately there are zero photos of the night but rest assured there were mysteries, intrigue and a whole lot of fun! Our winning team event came to the final round of accusations with receipts to present their case! 🧾

When you actually get to attend the event 👏 Jema and I escaped the farm for a trip to Christchurch or in better words another realm for @onceuponyourtimenz first event! We met Laura when she graced our Country Ball earlier this year and are thrilled to support her entrance into themed events here in New Zealand in the fantasy sector.

It was a wonderful night and I'm sure of many more to come. (And I guess this does prove some of our viewers point that a wardrobe tour is in order at some point 😅)
